Your skill library

Build-along · ~10 min at your own keyboard

Each hardened skill is a process that now runs without you, and they compose. The library IS the asset: it's what makes your AI setup worth more every month instead of resetting to zero each session. Inventory it, name the gaps, keep building.

Your starter: Skills a law practice runs weekly

Checklist

Make it yours: Replace the four with the tasks your practice repeats, keep the first-position rule for the redactor, and strike any skill that needs a client's name to work.

[ ] redact-first: takes any matter text and returns it with the parties lettered and a diff. Refuses to call the result safe. Runs before everything else.
[ ] authority-table: pulls every case, statute and rule out of a draft into a table with where each opens and the state UNVERIFIED. Never writes checked or holds; it is not a citation until you have opened it.
[ ] status-letter: takes a lettered docket entry and returns what was filed, what happens next, and the date as the order states it. Predicts nothing.
[ ] request-list: takes an engagement letter's scope and returns the document-request list with an owner by role on every line.

Struck: anything that needed the client's name to work.

The coach checks that what you paste back is your own work. The starter pasted back unchanged won't pass.
